#Throwback to our 2018 Walk to School major prize winners

Want to win a clinic with an AFL or AFLW player at your school? This year it’s easier than ever to win a prize just for taking part in Walk to School 2019.

We are inviting all participating school to share how their school has brought Walk to School to life and helped kids get active by walking, riding or scooting to and from school.

We’ve redesigned this year’s competition, so schools can show the different ways they encouraged their community to get active, this could range from using the Walk to School resources, working with their council to hold a healthy breakfast or running special event at their school for kids and families.

Schools can enter the competition using our online form here.

If you are looking for more ideas you can use to bring Walk to School to life, check out our competition blog for more ideas.

To help get kids excited we’re looking back at last year’s four winning schools who had an Australian Rules Football clinic with AFL or AFLW star earlier this year.

To help get schools and kids excited watch this fun video to see more from these four footy clinics.

Thank you and congratulations to all these schools and their local councils - Wangaratta Rural City Council, Baw Baw Shire Council, Gannawarra Shire Council and the Shire of Moorabool, who encouraged kids to walk, ride and scoot to school during Walk to School 2018.
